Meet the Doctors
Anna Allen, M.D. Ph.D.
Dr. Anna Allen graduated with honors from Kharkov State University in Ukraine
then completed PhD program in Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of
Rochester. She graduated Cum Laude from medical school at State University of
New York Downstate Medical Center and completed post-graduate training in Ophthalmology
at Albany Medical Center.
As a comprehensive Ophthalmologist Dr. Allen manages variety of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, pediatric eye conditions and eyelid problems. Dr. Allen is an attending ophthalmologist at Albany Memorial Hospital, St. Peter's Hospital and Stratton VA Medical Center. She performs surgeries at Albany Memorial Hospital and Albany Regional Eye Surgery Center in Latham, New York.
She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Ophthalmological Society.
