Meet the Doctors
Jordan Kassoff, M.D.
Dr. Kassoff is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon specializing
in Cornea and Refractive Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from
Cornell University and his medical degree form Albany Medical College. Following
his Ophthalmology residency at Albany Medical Center he performed a fellowship
in Corneal Disease and Refractive Surgery at Bethesda Eye Institute at St. Louis
University, where he participated in research in refractive surgery.
Dr. Kassoff now provides specialized care for patients who desire refractive
surgery, as well as for those with complex problems of the external eye and
cornea. Dr. Kassoff is an attending ophthalmologist at Albany Memorial Hospital
and St. Peter's Hospital, located in Albany, New York. He performs most of his
surgeries, including refractive surgery, at Albany Regional Eye Surgery Center
in Latham, New York. Dr. Kassoff has served as an elected member of the New
York State Ophthalmological Society Board of Directors.
Dr. Kassof was recently published in Ophthalmology Times Europe on Epi-Lasik.
